Class leading upright seating position with ZERO (0) forward lean allowing for the most comfortable riding position and Officer alertness allowing for discreet observation in the mirrors without detection.  Knees comfortably bent for riding all day. Risk-Officers may no longer write tickets and just ride all day as they will not want to get off the bikes.

Note the comfortable knee bend but due to Victory’s lowest center of gravity we do not need this to lift the bike off the kickstand, and with our built in tip over protection your officers may elect to let the bike simply drop practically eliminating any injury risk but with their legs securely on the ground with several inches of bend/range the chances of dropping due to slip is almost eliminated.

Still no forward lean and very comfortable knee bend. Will accommodate Motor Officers  over 8’0” tall with no forward lean however we may need to move the floorboards to the front wheel As the Riders get taller the only change is a slight increase in knee bend but the knee bend is forward as if sitting in a chair, not backwards which would cause strain and lower back pressure.

On the balls of their feet, legs straight down causing minimal support especially in a slippery condition, and allows for limited leg support if the bike starts to fall it all rests on the Riders lower back and arms to support. Great for early medical retirement.

Some forward lean causing neck craning and shoulder pressure but good knee bend. However with the Vibrations of the bike you are getting a massage while it is running so the neck pressure is reduced a bit.

Flat footed good support especially in slippery conditions (needed for lifting off kickstand due to weight of bike) still neck and shoulder pressure.

In order to achieve the desired upright seating position on the Harley Road King the Rider would have to be 6’10” and of course then his knees would interfere with the turning of the Motorcycle but the good thing is with his 6’10” height he would be able to pedal the bike easier during breakdowns so there is some trade-off benefits.

Good leg posture for support the bike (especially during stalls) or lifting off the kickstand.

Excessive forward lean shoulder pressure and substantial knee bend putting pressure on Riders hip joint, Lower back strain. Neck under severe strain from craning.  Should shorten the Motor Officers useful service life and get them back in a patrol car sooner than they wished.

Causes the legs to be straight down eliminating any leverage the Officer could use in the event of a slip possibly putting back and shoulders at greater risk of injury.

Causes even more lower back strain, hip pressure neck and shoulder pressure are still high but at least you start to get a little knee bend to help in drops/slips. And as you get taller Riders the pressure on the knees. Hips and lower back increase, recommend the department increase recruiting efforts for replacements if deploying the Honda.

Severest forward lean of all Police bikes in this study-causing the greatest strain on the neck, shoulders lower back. Does however place the rider in the best launch position to clear the bike if it rear ends another vehicle.

Rider is on the balls of his feet legs straight down so no leverage available in the event of a slip putting pressure on the lower back and shoulders to save the bike.  And with minimal tip over protection drops should be costly.

Increased knee bending required, still class worst forward leaning. As the Riders get taller the knee bending gets worse. However once you have a Rider that is at least 7’10” tall the forward lean finally gets reduced closer to the forward lean of the Honda ST 1300 and the BMW 1200RT which are still excessive.
