Victory Police Motorcycles offers a Unique Take Down Light that provides as broad band of light and can be easily aimed by the Officer on a stop or even detached for use as a tethered portable light. Apache Junction Arizona is the first department to deploy the new Victory Police Motorcycle take down light kit and to see how it lights up a vehicle on a stop is incredible. The light is so bright if pointed into the vehicles mirror they cannot see the actions of the Officer affording even greater protection for today’s Motor Officer

Victory Police Motorcycles

Here you see the operation of the PTT switch, and with the Victory you can have not only PTT but we can also control PA and this toggle does both. Simply push left or right to select transmit or PA announcer

Front view Lights on

Victory Police Motorcycles

Here you are looking at the dash of the Commander I Police bike and even though it looks like a cockpit from an F18 it is very simply laid out and everything is user friendly.

  1. Everything is looking forward Heads up for the Motor Officer
  2. What you are looking at here left to right is:  Digital Switch Controller, Raptor Radar remote, Setcom Wireless control, Video Monitor, Weather band (AM/FM IPOD control switch) Turn signal control, Siren switch, Airhorn, whelp switch, High/Low beam and Hazard switches. Then you move to the center and you have the Audio for the Radar/Video as well as the Raptor Radar Display and the Tire Pressure Monitor system.  In the picture the Video display looks like it blocks the Fuel gauge but when sitting on the bike nothing is blocked and everything is easily viewed.
  3. In the CENTER you also see the POLICE Radio head mounted and it sits perfectly between the LCD information display of the Motorcycle and the Audio display below. You have your Speedo , tachometer, and all instrumentation directly in front of you without having to look down or away from what is in front of you. Talk about safety.
  4. Then as you move to the right you see the charge gauge, the Microphone clip, Video camera, Emergency light switch, rear lights off (red button) power switch and Electronic Cruise control switch.
So this Motorcycle would be considered fairly loaded but everything is easy to use and you’re not busy looking at controls as everything is right there within a thumbs (emergency stuff) or a finger non emergency. Some would argue the IPOD control is priority over the Lights and Siren, but so far this is how you get it.

Victory Top Box
Victory Police motorcycles is the ONLY Police bike that offers two separate size top boxes to accommodate the use of mini computers or laptops, along with printers and plenty of additional storage for the Motor Officer. If you’re not using computers or using the Mini U1 Panasonic for example, we recommend the smaller box.

All Commanders come with 2nd Battery with isolation so we never drain the motorcycle battery, as well as with a built in dual battery tender for when the snow hits and you park the bike for months or your waiting out a suspension, you can plug the bike into an extension cord and keep both batteries up.

Victory Concealment Under Fire

Officer McCombs demonstrating the Tactical value of the Victory Police Motorcycle, here he drops the bike to the ground and removes the M4 from the saddlebag all the while he is completely concealed by the Victory. If you look closely you can see the barrel of the M4 sticking out by the rear wheel or between the front wheel and the engine all the while offering excellent cover for the Officer. The mass of the Victory coupled with the steel skid plate, floorboards and length if I only had one Police Motorcycle to hide behind you can easily see it would be the Victory. At about 6’.0” you can see the Victory can conceal an Officer completely.

We will be performing a live demonstration on how the Victory can take 9MM, 223 rounds and still protect the Officer and best of all be able to start and ride off on the bike afterwards. I just have to get Bobby to agree to lay still while I shoot. Working on that so stay tuned.

BMW Concealment

Victory vs. Honda Concealment

Here you have a Typical weapons install on the Honda ST 1300 and as with the other competitors the gun is exposed to the elements, creates potential problems with its general exposure and requires much more maintenance and unnecessary wear and abuse being in the elements every day. While compared to the Victory’s completely hidden gun, safe from the elements and prying eyes safer for everyone.

Left Side Control Switches
On the left grip The Victory Commander I and II offer simple thumb action to operate the siren with quick click and a push button with help function and easy to use PTT switch position
Left Side Control Switches
Left Thumb easily activates/controls Siren, momentary whelp. Air horn, turn signals, Hazard, High/Low beam, VPM Bank switch for Headlight off, Moto GP Driving Lights on/off. Alley Lights on/off and Electronic gun lock control. (AM/FM/Weather Commander I )
Right Side Control Switches
Right thumb easily controls Power on/off, Starter, Code 3, Tail Lights off Sneak mode and Cruise Control.

Also, the air horn is controlled by the motorcycle existing horn button.

High beam, emergency flashers, self-canceling turn signal are ALL operated simply by the thumb.

Above the emergency function switches you have the digital switch labeled here 1-4. This switch can control numerous functions. Some are: driving lights, headlight off, electronic gun lock release, moving radar on/off, video on/off, heated seat and heated grips, and several other functions depending on programming.

Most importantly on the Commander I - Stereo - we mean weather band radio, so on the road you can check on weather. If you accidently switch to your favorite FM or AM station, you can easily go back to the weather station or any pre-determined preset station such as traffic, and as we know the best traffic reports are on FM. The stereo control also will control an IPOD securely locked in the saddlebag so you can download your favorite training programs and be studying for promotions within the department while on your Police Cruiser.  Studies have shown that listening to training recordings mixed with music in between improves retention by 70 percent.

Left Side Heel Toe Shifter
with Ghost Heel shifter affording unprecedented foot room on the floorboard for the BEST foot room offered, plus the flexibility of four (4) inches of adjustment front to back so you can easily slide the shifter forward for tall Officers and back for the shorter officers. Now you can easily mount if desired even with the Motor running and not fear kicking the bike into gear. WOW

Left Side Heel Toe Shifter
more commonly referred to as the ghost heel/toe. After close inspection you can see why. Victory engineers really thought this out and after a lot of research the common problem with heel/toe shifter were okay i you had a size 8 or less feet. My sisters feet are bigger than that. So the market has lived with knocking the bike in or out of gear, and not being able to use the entire floorboard of the motorcycle.

Well, with Victory that has all changed. Not only do we offer the largest floorboards (18 inches), we let you use the entire board without interference from your foot. What a concept!!!
